At RBI Private Lending, our business has steadily grown by embracing one key guiding principle: identify what the market needs next – and build it.
In today’s real estate environment, investors don’t just need capital. They need certainty, speed, and a lending partner that understands how projects actually get built. So last year, we focused on helping real estate investors move faster, scale smarter, and compete more effectively in an evolving market. This market-driven mindset enabled us to achieve these milestones in 2025:
- Over $750 million in loan originations across 1,400+ loans
- Expansion into new states, reducing geographic concentration and strengthening national reach with active lending across 32 states, within a footprint of 43 approved states
- Recognition from industry leaders, including:
- Top 3 National Construction Lender (Scotsman Guide)
- Top 10 lender in loyalty metrics (Forecasa)
- Top 5 Construction Lender nomination (IMN)
- Chief Lending Officer Andres Saias named ‘Top Emerging Star 2026’ by Scotsman Guide
- A growing team of 100+ professionals supporting investors nationwide
These milestones matter not only because they are tangible evidence of our continued growth, but because they are the result of something deeper: a commitment to solving real problems for real estate investors.
From Market Gaps to Market Leadership
RBI found its true calling when we identified a significant void in the property financing space.
In 2017, Miami was experiencing a wave of condominium deliveries, many purchased by foreign investors. Demand was strong – but financing options were limited. Traditional banks could only support a small slice of the market, while alternative lenders often relied on rigid structures and prohibitively high pricing.
At the time, RBI operated a small fund trying to meet this demand. The opportunity was clear, but so was the limitation: investor appetite far exceeded our capacity.
The breakthrough came with a simple but unconventional idea – selling the loans.
By accessing capital markets and partnering with institutional investors willing to purchase our production, we unlocked the ability to reinvest capital quickly and expand responsibly. That moment reshaped RBI’s future.
We grew our programs, expanded broker relationships, and strengthened our sales and operations teams. With every loan, we learned – refining our approach, improving execution, and building a platform designed around real investor needs.
The RBI Way: Constant Reinvention
RBI’s focus on identifying inefficiencies and turning them into opportunities sometimes means achieving incremental process improvements. Other times, it means embracing bold change. What never changes is our mindset: test, learn, refine – and repeat.
We don’t view challenges as setbacks. We see them as catalysts for growth.
That philosophy has helped us build a resilient, forward-looking organization – one that adapts quickly and isn’t afraid to evolve when the market demands it.
Technology Built for Real Estate Investors
Technology remains one of RBI’s greatest competitive advantages. With a dedicated in-house development team of more than 10 technology professionals, we invest heavily in tools that improve construction lending, project oversight, and the overall investor experience.
When we couldn’t find solutions that matched how investors actually operate, we built them ourselves:
- A proprietary point-of-sale platform
- A custom fund control and draw management system
- An internal inspection platform
- Purpose-built underwriting and credit tools
Every system starts with the same question: What will make this easier, faster, and more transparent for investors? The result is one of the most advanced technology ecosystems in private lending – designed to support scale without sacrificing control.
Looking Ahead: Growth with Purpose
As we move forward, RBI is targeting approximately 50% growth in originations in 2026, as we continue to expand selectively into markets where fundamentals and investor demand align.
- California remains a priority, alongside other high-opportunity regions.
- Expansion will continue to be led by experienced local leadership, building outward from proven talent
- Growth is expected across new construction, fix-and-flip, bridge, and DSCR lending
Our focus remains clear: serve today’s dynamic real estate investor with speed, flexibility, and certainty – without compromising discipline.
A Disciplined Partner for What’s Next
RBI was built to be more than a source of capital. We are a lending platform designed for execution – combining flexible private capital, disciplined underwriting, and technology that supports transparency and scale. Our focus is simple: help real estate investors move decisively, manage risk, and grow across market cycles.
As we enter 2026, that focus remains unchanged. We will continue to invest in our people, our technology, and our geographic reach – while staying grounded in the fundamentals that matter most to investors.
If you’re planning your next acquisition, development, or portfolio expansion, RBI is ready to be your lending partner.
